Granted, at times, the agents’ egos get a little bruised. They may say something like: “Teach me?! I have been in real estate for 20 years!” Well, we listen politely and then ask them a few questions – especially our 7 QUESTIONS TO TEST AN AGENT’S NEGOTIATION SKILL. If the agent gets the questions right, great, we just monitor to make sure that the agent pursues your best interests at all times – with the major aim being to get you the highest price.

HELP NEGOTIATE WITH YOUR BUYERS!

An agent’s skill is really tested when buyers show interest in your home. These days, most buyers make an offer. Indeed, in many cases, agents are so badly trained they will say to interested buyers, “Would you like to make an offer?” In other words, the agents are quite literally saying to buyers, “Would you like to pay less for this home?” This is how sellers so often lose money they did not need to lose. It’s a great reward when sellers tell us such things as, “We don’t know what we would have done without you!” Well, the answer is that, “Without us, you would have lost a lot of money from the selling price of your home.”

HELP YOU RE-BUY!

If you are using our free support service to sell your home, you are also entitled to our free support service if you are buying a home. Just as we did all we could to help you sell at the highest price, we will also help you buy at the lowest price. Indeed, it’s much easier to get the lowest price for buyers than to get the highest price for sellers because so many agents are such poor negotiators. The worst agents are those who think they are great negotiators and yet most have never done a course in negotiation nor even read a book about negotiation.

EXAMPLE. Recently, a lady sold her home with a Jenman Approved agent. She was interested in buying a home in the Sydney suburb of Padstow which was being auctioned through a prominent real estate franchise. The figurehead of the agency franchise teaches real estate agents. I helped this lady buy the home for $101,000 BELOW what she was willing to pay (which is what happens at most auctions – homes are undersold!). Given that this lady sold with our help and got apx $150,000 MORE than she was quoted by other agents and she then bought with our help, she was more than a quarter of a million dollars better off! It was lovely to get a hug from a lady in her 80s. I am happy to help you too.
