Thanks Neil for your warning. Before I found your wonderful people I was advised that I should spend a lot on the house before trying to sell. I went to an auction in the same street and they had already bought another house and done a great deal of work on the property (as advised). They never got what they were asking, while your people got me the highest price at that time for the street. I did a lot of small jobs, and did a lot of painting etc, but didn’t spend a lot. Thankyou for being there for us at all stages of our lives.

My sister recently rang an agent trying to inspect a house that was advertised for the first time about 5 days earlier. The agent said that she could make an offer above a certain figure but she couldn’t inspect the property because they already had 3 offers after the first open house which had occurred 2 days earlier. Of course she wasn’t going to make an offer on a property she hadn’t inspected.
My sister had bought from this agency before so they knew she was a genuine buyer but they couldn’t be bothered showing her the house.
I bet the owners didn’t know what happened.

Doesn’t seem like good customer service does it
I enjoying your articles, it really shows how those agents can afford those expensive flashy suits and cars.

    Hello Neil,
My only comments are that I have been following you for many years and greatly admire your integrity and transparency.
    Kind regards.

    Thank you. An excellent article.
I have approached many Agents for appraisals to sell my home.
I am 78 years of age.
The first thing that they come up with besides their appraisal price is pushing an advertising campaign for which they want me to sign up to and pay for.
It puts me off every time and for this reason I have not put my house on the market.
I have very little respect for and trust in Real Estate Agents.
There must be some reputable and honest Agents somewhere.
