    Dear Neil,

    Fantastic, helpful and honest article.

I just had some fantastic help from an agent to sell my house, because the market is so hot, and for me to go renting so I can purchase a property when the market falls back.

Frankly I do not know you manage to stay sane in the property business. You must have a higher belief system.

We bought a new property – silly us we used a neighbour who is a Lawyer. She told me it is a NEW BUILD – & doesn’t really require a a Building Inspection…..the property has mould issues & many other problems. We had an Architect inspect the property …his advise Sell…get out. Council Engineer checked the Property & was amazed Council had approved the build. Bottom line – don’t trust Councils or Solicitors- Builders Warranty was useless. Developer was so aggressive & swore at us & using the foulest of language. Architect told us Developers are very good at being abusive & foul mouthed…they do it to intimidate people. Another Learning curve in life…
We have a relative in Real Estate, creepy, lazy & dishonest….he is my husband’s relative, we try to avoid the relative as much as possible, he is always bragging about his Sales & what a great guy he is …….NOT !!!!!
